Unsaid is a small production and communications company based in the UK.
Unsaid’s founder, Mats, began with the belief that people’s stories don’t have to be told with pity, guilt or sensationalism.
Instead, Unsaid’s communications and production work is about listening to the real story, being open-minded and deliberate. Our approach is humble, taking care to respect people’s dignity and tell the story they want to be told.

Unsaid uses photography, film, and print to help people, companies and non-profits tell their stories. We have worked in places as varied as Colombia, Ukraine, Bangladesh and Germany.
We are comfortable working with sensitive subjects and in difficult environments. We work with rights based organisations such as Save the Children; and with local, national and international businesses.
We bring together a small and dedicated team of trusted creatives for each project, giving you – and those whose stories you’re telling – confidence to speak openly and safely.
Some of our recent clients: Save the Children, UNICEF, The IKEA Foundation, The Astrid Lindgren Company, ARNEC, K2 Corporate Mobility and The Gosling Factor.
this is what we do when we are not in the office.
We have managed everything from complex multi-country film, photography and print projects to short, time sensitive campaign work on location. We work with experienced producers, camera people and local practitioners.
We use photography to enable our clients, and their stakeholders and communities, to tell their stories. Whether it’s for a magazine highlighting child mortality or a report on the psychosocial needs of refugee children, photography helps readers come closer.
Video helps bridge gulfs between people. To see and hear someone brings the viewer closer to understanding their world. We work with videographers with local knowledge, who care deeply for the communities and the people they film.
We strive to bring out people’s own stories in all our print productions. We have years of experience producing print and digital materials, from large reports with significant technical content to rapid production of case studies and communication toolkits. We work with designers and writers with NGO and corporate experience, creating the visual and content impact our clients need to get their message across.
